I should say so. Most of my education is in classical music; I don’t play jazz, but I certainly appreciate those who do. And I’ve never heard of Klemmer. I’ve got some listening to do!

The story was that Max Roach heard about the accident, purchased a 1.75l of congnac and didn’t leave his hotel room for two days.

Klemmer was the first Kenny G, crazy enough. He became the king of smooth sax after this release. But this track is bananas.
